Jacob founded Republic after nearly two decades running IT in some of the most demanding environments in Texas. He has led infrastructure and security for a publicly traded oil and gas producer, managed IT operations across 30 locations and 2,000 users for a healthcare company, and built out new sites for Amazon across the Houston metro. He has seen what good IT looks like at scale, and what happens when it fails.
Along the way he earned an MBA, a cybersecurity degree, and his CISSP, the gold standard certification in information security. But the credential he is proudest of is simpler: clients who stay, because they trust him. At one company he drove external penetration testing findings to the lowest in its history. At another he ran the HIPAA, SOX, and PCI audits that kept the business compliant and out of trouble.
He started Republic on a conviction that small and mid-sized businesses deserve that same caliber of IT leadership, without needing a Fortune 500 budget to get it.
